Voter Registration

Please click on the link below to download the voter registration form, or contact the Summit County Board of Elections to register to vote. Please note that you must have your registration completed and sent to the Board of Elections 30 days before the general election (R.C. 3501.10(B), 3503.190).

Vote by Mail

All registered voters have the option of voting by mail for any reason by using an absentee ballot. If you would like to vote from home, please click on the link below to download an absentee ballot application beginning the first day after close of voter registration (R.C. 3509.01). Absentee ballots, returned in person or via a method other than U.S. Mail, must be received by the boards of elections by 7:30 p.m. on election day (R.C. 3509.05, 3511.11). Absentee ballots returned by U.S. Mail must be postmarked no later than the day before the election and received by boards of elections by 10 days after general election to be counted (R.C. 3509.05, 3511.11).
